In a 4 hour session, Roxanne took my headstrong, over reactive, green broke, afraid of everything, barely able to lead, 18 yr old Arabian,to being bonded with me, paying attention to me, he was able to overcome many of his fears, and leads like a dream, stands still for saddling and bridling and fun to ride. She also helped me overcome my fears of him. He's now very attentive to what I ask him to do and I'm continuing to make progress on him. Roxanne is a great natural horsewoman with great understanding of horses and their riders and is a very effective trainer. Karee

Hi my name is Joee Andersen and I want to give a reference for Roxanne Esteb.I purchased a kill pen horse and no one had any information on this mare. I had been severely injured in a accident many years before and I was frightened to ride again. I had spoken to many trainers but Roxanne was the only 1 who was willing to work with me to see what my horse knew.Roxanne came out to my place and worked with the mare and got on her to see what she knew. Roxanne was very kind to me and my mare and showed me I had a kids horse and showed me things to work on with her. I highly recommend Roxy as a trainer. She did an Amazing job starting my three year old draft cross Bentley!! Roxy is a knowledgeable horse woman, who is disciplined and patient with the animals. My boy came back with a solid foundation nice walk, trot, canter and is now amazing on the trails. I have had Roxanne Esteb work with me and a wild mare I bought! Total extrovert! I could not catch this horse and called Roxanne to come help me. She not only had my mare caught (halter) but also had her relaxed enough to walk her around and eventually into a horse trailer. She advised me to get a lawn chair and a book(cause it might take along time for my horse to come over to me) and sit it in my mare’s pasture and let the horse come up to me. It worked and (Rojenika) finally started trusting me. Roxanne helped with ground work and desensitizing her. Roxanne loves challenges. I call her the Horse Whisperer! She has a gift and love for animals. She is very patient, informative, knowledgeable, helpful and a really kind trainer/teacher and person! I’d highly recommend Roxanne.

I met Roxanne in 2018, when she did some ground training with my 7 year old Quarter horse, Pete. He had always been a pasture pet up to that time. Her method of training and results in just over 1 week were so impressive, that I asked her to break him for ridding in 2019. After 30 days he is a great horse with a good mind. I was blessed to be introduced to Roxanne just before getting my little Morgan mare. I didn't know much about her other than she was "green broke"....I contacted Roxanne and asked her to figure her out and make sure she was safe for me and my horse "needs". In doing so creates a beautiful thing, a thing that cannot be forgotten as time goes on. My passion is starting horses, problem solving, fine tuning, etc. My goal is to create a solid foundation so that anyone can ride and trust the horse they are astride.
